The IMO Group originated from the founding of Radiocirugía San Francisco de Asís, S.A. in 1988.

The initiative arose from a group of professionals who were committed to making the most modern irradiation techniques for the fight against cancer available to the community.

Since then, in Spain the society has been a pioneer in the treatment of patients using the following techniques:

ii. Intraoperative Radiotherapy.
iii. 3D Dynamic Radiotherapy.
iv. Fractioned Stereotactic Radiotherapy.

vii. Brachytherapy with Y125 sources.

The IMO Group is always attentive to innovative new techniques which may be reliable and efficacious in our Radiosurgery and Radiotherapy units and in the treatment of our current and future patients.

Along this line, the IMO Group has recently added Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and body Radiosurgery techniques to its treatments.
